Kindness: Showing It Online
While we spend more time behind the computer screen, interacting with our social network via Facebook, Twitter, Blogging etc, the amount of get-together we have with our social circle reduces.
As we and our younger generation turn to face more of the screen than actually facing our friends in person, can we continue to show kindness - online? What are some ways?
Yes. we can. I came across these GREAT TIPS to follow. It shares that there are many ways we can show our little act of kindness too while via online social media :)

Here I AM expressing a BIG THANK YOU to all who drop by at PARENT TIMES and share useful and motivating comments, all who drop by (our silent readers and friends), and all who share wonderful awards with Parent Times (and sincere apologies that I have not been able to share all of them at the blog yet).
Though I may not have time to reply to all your comments or return comments at your blog, I wish to express my appreciation for your visit and time :).
And….
For our silent readers, if you could spare more time, do feel free to drop us a few useful words. In this way, I could get to know you too *wink*.
By the way, SPAM comments/emails are definitely far out of the range of showing KINDNESS.
[If there are people who are not keen to show any gesture of KINDNESS on the online social media, please also DO NOT spend time to show UNKINDNESS eg. by giving SPAM comments/emails.]
What a wonderful post, Denesa.. it is quite true.. my circle of frens become smaller when I spend my evenings facing this box instead of calling them up.. makes me lazy to go out too at times..
Yes, showing kindness online is as essential as showing it in the real world. It gives us encouragement and motivation behind the virtual world. If there is no kind words to say, it is better to be silent.
The world is becoming colder and brutal, a little kindness goes a long way.
Hi Claire,
Thank you. It is a reality now and I don’t know how to lead a day with a PC without internet access.
Hi Michael.
Absolutely agree:)
Hi ECL,
We tend to take things granted now to remember to be kind to others.
