Kids must be familiar with this DOMINO TORNADO.

I used to play it with the boys. We would build a long and winding domino trail. Then with slight push of a finger or even one blow from the mouth, we would play it like this….

These little colourful pieces are indeed useful.

After many years, Brendan is still playing with it.  He came up with other methods of playing with the domino years ago. He uses the pieces to build his Fantasy World(s).  Now he calls the game Domino Safari.

We have since increased their domino collection because Darren has also joined Brendan in building their ANIMAL SAFARI. As the name implies, the safari will not be complete without animals and tour buses. Hmm….something is missing. Greenery?  It is time I add some green set-up to complete the eco-system *hee*.

I found many of these photos in my phone. Sensing the pride of their creative work, I decide to blog about it. I am still wondering which of our boys has contributed to this photo collection:)

Each time, they come back from the zoo, they will construct another Domino Safari with their imaginations. Then they would spend hours discussing their “architectural design”. It actually takes planning and organisation to build this set-up, with little enclosures. Pay a little more attention and we will realise that the designs are different each time they do a new set-up.

Thank goodness, they did not house the tame animals with the wild ones *grin*.

It’s great seeing them in cordial discussion and being creative. However, the parents will have to skip and even tip toe to get past the creative work by our boys or we risk being “fired”.

Oh! That sense of satisfaction and pride in our little ones……
