I overheard this conversation between a lady and an old couple.

This 41 year-old lady was sharing with the couple that she has given birth to 7 sons! The eldest one is currently 21 years old and the youngest being 7 years old. While she mothered 7 sons, she also helped to babysit 2 young girls whom she claimed that she adored like her own kids (they are her god daughters).  To mother 7 kids, take care of other’s 2 kids (on a 24/7 basis) are tough enough and on top of that she has to do all housework and cook!   

Although I cannot imagine her spending her whole life since 20 years old, going through 7 cycles of getting pregnant, giving birth, having confinement, taking care of kids (probably without adequate rest), I must really salute her!

The most wonderful thing is that she looks younger than her age and definitely manages to maintain her figure.  For me, having 2 playful boys are already quite a handful and each child birth at an older age seems to exhaust my energy (although I am still in my thirties.) I remembered myself wagging like a big fat penguin, mostly tired and having constant heartburn when I was pregnant with my second boy.

I really admire this mother of 7 biological sons for her persistence and ability to manage “Do, Re, Me, Fa, So, La, Di” BOYS and a high threshold of pain for going through child birth so many times. While she spoke, her expressions truly showed that she loves children. It must be a difficult process for this mother. Am wondering whether she is considering a number 8^th???
