Simple Joy: Having Fun In That Chase!
Most of the times, I check days or weeks ahead for family or kids’ activities/events that we can engage our family in “TOGETHER”.
[Sometimes, while Brendan enjoys these activities, Darren does not. Vice-versa.]
Well, it is not about passing time but engaging “quality family time” TOGETHER - doing what we feel are enjoyable, relaxing, meaningful/educational and even rare experience for our kids.
While I spend time looking out for what I “as parent” deem as meaningful activities with/for our kids, we also let them suggest the activities for the weekend.
And the truth is ”when we leave it to the kids to suggest a common activity that they enjoy”, we realise that we do not necessarily have to plan and go so far to achieve this FUN time together, isn’t it?
As for my kids - THEY (meaning same activties that they BOTH like) have always derived so much fun engaging in those carefree moments and playtime with others *Smile*
[Haha...with parents watching or even chasing after/with them *lol*]
Kids seem to be unable to resist that simple joy in that wild chase, huh?
Read on to see what I mean *smile*.
So, what are these kids chasing after?
Finally, the “Star”of the day has landed! It is the much awaited for “BUBBLES”!
Trust me, these bubbles can really make so many kids of all ages crazily chasing after them.
The brothers in action busily bursting bubbles! With the mid-autumn festival around the corner, lanterns now serve many purposes and also to give out bubbles too:)
The joy on Darren’s face shows the fun and enjoyment. And…these two little girls are really sweet:)
Hee, here is a youtube video that we have shared before with our boys on a wild chase “ after a duck” *haha*.
haha, fun time!

I loved chasing as well, remember “Police and Thief” ?
Have fun!
Hi Wenn,
Kids simply love bubbles. It is so tempting for adults to snatch from them..haha.
hi Claire,
It is a way to stay youthful and energetic.
Hi Life Rambling,
You can play bubble catching with your kids too:)
Hi Michael,
Police and Thief? I played it when I was young. I prefer to be catching than be caught.
