Prize Giving Day 2010
We attended the Prize Giving Ceremony held at Brendan’s School on 19 Nov. This year, Darren joined us to see his elder brother on stage receiving his prize.
After a year of consistent hardwork, Brendan has come in 2nd in class for his Primary 5 academic performance.
We are happy that our decision for him to take Higher Mother Tongue (Chinese) as an additional subject this year has been right. There has been more pressure to study 5 subjects instead of the usual 4 BUT he not only shows a vast improvement in his Chinese but also is able to continue with the subject during his Primary 6:)
Well done son! Your hard work and perseverance have yielded results!
Here is an earlier post that we shared a year ago when Brendan attended Prize Giving Ceremony 2009 .
congrats to Brendan on his great achievement. he’s such a smart boy.
Congrats to Darren on his achievements! Keep up the good work! :)
Well done, Brendan! I remember you came in top last year too! Your hard work has paid off. Now is the time to enjoy your holidays before working hard again for your final year in Primay school. :)
Congrats to both Darren and Brendan! Job well done. :)
Well done Brendan! :) Mummy must give herself a pat on the back too! :)
Hi Life Ramblings,
Thanks:)
Hi ECL,
Thanks for the encouragement. I thank you on behalf of Brendan:)
Hi Ing,
Talking about PSLE, I am getting more gancheong than Bren, I guess..
Wonder why they have to make PSLE sound so scary and competitive:(
Hi Lina,
Thanks:) Darren did not win a prize but I am overall happy with his results for a young boy who is only first year in his Primary School:)
Hi Jus,
You are so sweet to remember mommy too:) Haha! I think Papa did alot in withstanding the “pressure” while guiding Brendan in his Math and Science. I guess I am just lucky that Brendan is hardworking in his studies. So credit goes to the males at home..haha:)
Wow, your child are all so clever! Congrats to Brendan and you too :)
Well done, Brendan! Keep up the good work!
Hi Michael,
Thanks!
Hi Slavemom,
