Angry Birds on iPhone

These days, Papa Ed’s and my iPhones have become extra popular.  In fact, they have gained popularity as a gaming gadget instead of communications gadget.

Our boys would lay hand on our phones, simply for one reason - to play the “Angry Birds”!

Many of you might have already experienced the “Angry Birds” and how they try all means to take revenge on the oink oink *grin*.

First, it started with Papa and then the boys.  Hehe! My 3 males at home, somehow, make very good company when it comes to playing the same game.

This game is stealing their attention from this poor mommy whenever we are out there waiting for meals to be served, waiting for appointments …..

See what I mean …. gaming moments never fail to strengthen that bonding

As I understand, the ”birds” in the game have valid reasons to be angry. Which parents won’t when their youngs are being attacked?  The pigs ate their eggs and the angry birds went on revenge attacking the pigs with catapults.

This is how it started…..(watch the video)

Then the angry birds got the humans involved too in their search for revenge.  So, how do humans got involved? Yeah, through playing and getting addicted to the game, of course! *haha*.

Poor pigs! First they are slaughtered and eaten and now they are shot! You can almost hear the pigs say :”If our kinds can be eaten, why can’t we eat the birds’ eggs?”

The game looks simple huh? But actually not so easy after all. As Papa Ed defended:”Hey! Must aim okay!  It is not so simple. There are 5 kinds of birds with different abilities.”

Okay. I agree. The game requires some precision, strategy to aim at the right angle and it is not just shoot shoot.  Like Darren said “must know the trick”. And I certainly give Darren 101 marks for it because he helps in successfully destroy any pigs whenever we fail.

I have not got addicted to the game YET but must admit the game is CUTE and I love the adorable sounds of the angry birds. Each time, I hear the angry birds making noises, I know our ”senior boy” is on the game again *haha*.

And I know what game to turn to whenever I have anger to let out *oops*!

Papa Ed not only shared with me the origins of the game but have also informed me that in case I am interested, the plush toys of the pigs and angry birds are on sale at angrybirds.com.

I guess he is just enthusiastic in spreading the joy of playing an entertaining game with his loved ones *haha* :) Yeah, an entertaining game is worth playing for months and who knows what game they will be playing next…

Oh my goodness, my son Braeden loves this game. He is 7, he is playing it in the car all the time. I feel like he should be an Angry Birds consultant. Haha. I guess it is good for building strategy problem solving.

Reminds me of the scene in my own home! I also love playing Angry Birds on my phone but I can’t manage to get addicted to it. By the way, if you love apps, here’s one you should try. Intuition (www.iconapps.com) is my current favorite. It’s not a game but it’s a task management app for moms and I can’t live without it. Not only does it manage my tasks, it also helps me by the tips and advice I can get from fellow moms. Plus it’s really cute and totally free. You should try it!
