Sound Asleep

Sometimes in a public transport, we might sense that the body of our neighbour passenger is slowly leaning towards us. Next we might gradually find his/her head resting on our shoulder. “AHEM” with a clearing of our throat or shrugging of our shoulder, our neighbour passenger began to sit up straight. However, as the journey continues, we will find the head again comfortably resting on our shoulder. Sometimes, if the transport is not crowded, we will change our seat. Otherwise, we might just continue to “AHEM” or “Excuse Me” or shift our body uncomfortably *sigh*. The conclusion is that the particular neighbour passenger must be very tired and hence so soundly asleep. It is not surprising to hear accompanying snoring music as we bear with the journey *oops!*

While driving, it is often a common sight to see my youngest son, Darren, sound asleep at the backseat. His “deep sleep” look , with saliva drooling down the side of his mouth is such a cute sight in the eyes of a mother *LOL*. It is so comfortable to be chauffeured, huh? Sometimes, I wish I could sleep anywhere I go, just like them, because sleep is such a “much yearned for activity” for me as we have been so busy these days.
