Zoom-Zoom

Since the family has expanded with 2 kids, having a car becomes a necessity especially for ferrying the boys to and from school and marketing.  I have been happily driving the boys in papa’s car until my car accident last October. Though I was fortunate to sustain only minor injuries, the loud “BANG” and impact, and flashes of memories of myself alone in that car when the accident happened, has not stopped haunting me.

That fear has brought me much inconvenience as I return to square one again of having to wait to be ferried or I really have to acquire very special skill to rush the 2 boys to 2 different schools and yet still bring myself to work on time, all via public transport! Then I will have to do magic again to ensure that I knock off on time and reach childcare centre by 7pm. (Oh mine, the childcare centre timing is really inconvenient for working mummies.)

Hence, just 3 weeks ago, I convinced myself that it is time to force myself to concur the phobia and DRIVE again. That was when I decided to buy my own car (my very 1st owned car!). Will no longer be driving papa’s car cos I also decided that it might be better not to share a vehicle especially after the damages that I have brought to papa’s car during that unfortunate accident…oops..sorry…

The boys were very excited that mummy is gonna have her own car! However, we are now very disappointed that it seems a long while before we can get the car. I was not successful in the last COE  bidding and will be trying my luck again today. If it fails again, I will have to wait for the next COE bidding in two weeks’ time and then another two weeks’ time if unsuccessful.

Oh dear! it seems so difficult to get a car here! We have been patiently waiting for the Zoom-Zoom new car  and till then….I will have to Zoom-Zoom like a Superwoman on my two feet if papa/car is unavailable.

Hence, we definitely look forward to a successful COE bidding today for myself. Keeps fingers crossed ………..
