A few nights after the Earth Hour initiative, Darren turned off the lights in his room and roamed around his room in the dark with a torch light.

Mommy: “Brendan, do you know why Darren is playing in his room with the lights off?”

Brendan:”Earth Hour?”

Mommy: “Darren, why do you turn off the room lights and using a torch?”

His reply really took me by surprise.

Darren: “Policemen are not afraid of the dark. I am learning not to be scared and walking in the dark so that I can grow up to become a policeman.”

Ahem! A surprising reply! Hehe…. Aha! Early training for police wannabe:)
