A Year Older

I had a quiet and simple birthday celebration a few days ago.

Love this sweet little “boy” who presents a “cake” and a bouquet of ”lovely flowers”, hidden in the bedroom and meant to be for the birthday girl to stumble upon.  Then, the meaningful card.

Thanks Ed:)

Cake cutting is a must on the birthdays of all family members. Our boys picked this cake because it has alot of their favourite fruits and is so colourful.

As I had to work on my birthday, Papa Ed brought me to the beach for some quiet cycling moments at the beach, without our boys after the birthday.

Thanks Ed for the two birthday treats over two days - knowing I LOVE food.  One is a Chinese ala-carte style dinner at Paradise Inn and then another buffet dinner treat at Todai with our boys.  So, I had the chance to savour Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Italian cuisines and those sweet pastries and desserts.  Hee….I felt overfed after all these great meals:)

Our boys planned a “treasure hunt” and “dance” programme on my birthday.  The ”treasures” are what money can’t buy because they are paper craft items specially made by our boys *haha*.

Thanks boys…mommy is really touched by the efforts and enjoyed the entertainment:)
