In  about 6 months, Brendan will bid farewell to his Primary School.

For the last 5 years, I have not missed a year of his sports race.

Similarly, this year Papa Ed and I were both there to cheer him on for his final sports race in his existing school.

He took part in the 4×120m relay as the final runner.

The first few runners in his team were far way behind the other runners in the other teams.  His team came in fourth.

But still we are proud of him.

Because he did not give up. He did his best to race forward as the final runner even though he knew that it was unlikely for him to catch up.

It is the sports and team spirits that we are proud of:)
