A New Journey.
I still can’t believe that I am taking the courage to experience a whole new life of being a SAHM and the new lifestyle that is waiting for me soon…very soon.
Despite being a few months break from work, I am sure I will miss those career life too.
However, I am looking forward to achieving those long unfulfilled and neglected plans for so many years.
Do continue to follow us on my brand new experience of motherhood and lifestyle - insights of a mommy who used to shoulder on in both worlds.
I hope I can get adjusted soon……
WOW, congratulations on taking the plunge! It takes a lot of courage too, and many times, I myself had dreamed of being a SAHM but so frightened of taking that plunge. Perhaps reading your experiences will inspire me :)
I hope and know you will enjoy your new world. You will also miss the other.
may God bless you in your new journey! I worked for 10 years before deciding to take the plunge and be a SAHM. I was a SAHM for one year and the experience I had was not “really a big deal” and not tough. But the lessons and the experience changed me: more lasting and the lessons are deeply rooted. I went back to work after 1 year, but being a SAHM made me see work in a different way. sure, there’s still that workaholic semblance and tendencies, but at the end of the day, it’s still all about family, living, loving, and laughing. Before I used to think work is the end-all be-all thing. After my SAHM experience, work is… just that. Work. And yes, there is definitely more to life than work.
Enjoy your SAHM-hood!
