Punggol Waterway

In a recent post, I mentioned Punggol Beach. On our way to Punggol Beach, we went by Punggol Waterway - Singapore’s longest man-made waterway which was open to the Public as at 23 October 2011.

Looks like we have a new venue for cycling and jogging or simply lazing:)

Punggol MRT station in the background. The sky just cannot cheer up on these days:(

I suppose a gloomy day after a heavy rain is the best time to cycle.

Not much crowd on a weekend.

I seem to have special feeling for red bricks besides the water

Yuki who has something against grasses will love this stony walk path. Am thinking why don’t they lay some pebble stones here?pic5

Err..maybe I should plant some new seedlings at this new waterway park and many years down the road, my descendants will know it’s their Ahma’s tree. Haha! Just kidding:) We cannot anyhow plant tree in Public.

There seems to be a few bridges here. We were at another side of the waterway. I drove along the park instead of walking *lazy*. Actually, I was afraid of the rain causing pimples on my face:)

Really loves Northeast region - the region where I grew up. That’s why it becomes extra nolstagic for me when I sight new developments here:)
