Phew!

Darren was “banned” from going to school after they did the routine check and discovered red spots in his mouth a few days ago. There was an outbreak of hand foot mouth disease (HFMD) in the school for last month and the school has taken higher precaution. Doctor did a check and cautioned that we leave him at home to observe for more symptoms of …just in case.

Last few days was tough as we had a hard time separating the two boys (almost impossible task when I am at work!), using disposable cutleries for Darren and cleaning up the toys that he used to share with Brendan. I was very kiasu to fill up my cupboard with anti-bacterial products.

Since there were no deterioration of conditions, we brought him for doctor’s review again and am so glad and relieved that it was all a false alarm! Phew!!!
