Flying? Worry No More About Your Pet

When my family travels, one of the things that we worry most is ”who is going to take care of our pets”. So, we thought about our poor fish, our poor terrapin, our poor hamster.

At least, we are fortunate that my helpful mom takes over the feeding of our pets when we are away.

I am sure many pet lovers will also worry about their dogs, cats or rabbits or….. when they have to be away from home for a while.

Then we learnt that pets could actually fly with their owners when we got this information from Singapore Airlines. I am not sure about other airlines though.

Read this : “Singapore Airlines accomodates the transportation of pets in the air-conditioned cargo hold of the aircraft as long as they are placed in cages.”

Hmm…Sounds so non-complex right? I guess they mean small cages with small pets.

Aha, this means ends of worries for travellers!  But I think it is still safe to check the custom law of the country you are visiting just in case animals are not allowed entry.  And certainly …please do not bring a “human-eating” pet on board the passenger plane.

Hehe…I guess when Brendan reads this, he will be requesting me to bring along his pet, besides his already heavy entertainment stuff like board games, electronic games, the next time we fly:)
