Walking With Dinosaurs - The Arena Spectacular
Why do boys generally get fascinated by dinosaurs? Is it because it is mysterious? extinct? powerful? fantasizing?
Hehe…at least, these are the reasons why my “Old” boy at home likes dino and I guess, he influences my “Young” boys too *smile*.
Then, we have enough of the toy dino and each time there is a chance to view or go near the mega size dino, it is definitely a program that the family won’t miss.
When Walking with Dinosaurs - The Arena Spectacular was staged in Singapore from 1-12 December recently, there was much publicity about it.
So, we went. To experience the cinematic effect of the much acclaimed production and evolution of the dinosaur era.
There, the flowers bloomed and withered, the dinosaurs fought, and we witnessed the tectonic and seasonal changes and the mighty roar of the dinosaurs. Each time a new species of dinosaurs made its grand entry, we could hear kids screaming out their names and much laughters when baby T Rex made its mini roar.
Have you seen it?
Well, if dinosaurs had not been extinct, lions will never be KING of the BEASTS….talking about size, mightiness and power.
Glad that your kids enjoyed the show! We did not managed to catch it as the middle range tickets are all sold and the cheaper ones are too far up. I figure the most expensive ones are not worth it so we skip the show after negotiating with my kids to watch Narnia instead :) Save me quite a lot :)
Anyway, they have the close encounter with Dino the last time in Science Center and Bird Park.
Yes, you are right, Lion and elephants are small “dino” compared to the real thing :)
We didn’t go cos the boy’s probably too young. Looks great though, from your pics!
For big dino fans, this must be like a dream come true. To c the dinos moving ard n roaring as if they were nvr extinct.
Hi Michael,
I didn’t manage to get the better seats too. Not too good a view but at least it was an educational one for my boy as they narrated the evolution history of the dinosaurs era. Oh yah, Narnia was excellent and my boys were glued to their seats throughout the show.
Hi Jus,
I agree that your little one might be too young to understand the story and performance.
Hi Slavemom,
My kids are actually big pokemon fans and not so much big dino fans …lol. I guess my elder one could appreciate the performance better as he could understand the narration.
