A Continuation Our Story on Our Wedding (ROM) Anniversary

So the story of my wedding (ROM) anniversary continues …..

Papa Ed and I were both not in a mood to eat and so decided to skip that sumptuous meal. Both of us were having bad stomachs…yah the bugs decide to visit us on  the wrong day.  We decided to go for a movie instead … a movie that the kids cannot join is ….FRIDAY THE 13TH.

What is my review of the movie? Well, I would say we have chosen the wrong movie for this “love” occasion.   The movie is swarmed with “killing” scenes (well, I shan’t dwell further into those additional intimate scenes).  One would know that nothing good will happen on “Friday the 13th”, as the name implies, and be prepared for the high suspense.  However, throughout the

show, it was not difficult to predict when the killer “Jason” is on his killing hunt again and who his next victim will be.  So much for the “suspense” but what really got me was the endless blood scenes that for a moment almost made me throw out. Fortunately, what kept me glued to the screen was the familiar face of the male lead - Jared Padalecki, one of my favourite stars after following his TV series “Supernatural”. So there is still a good reason for me to follow the movie.

Back to my wedding (ROM) anniversary….

at night. Not everyday do we find time to relax and slow down our pace to catch a glimpse of the surroundings around us.   Still reluctant to call it the day, we proceeded to Clark Quay where the crowd never sleeps. The night life of entertainment was still so vibrant even at midnight. Suddenly, from a venue of disturbing scenes, to the “top of the world” with spectacular views of the night, to a busy favourite night-life spot where different cultures meet….Yes, I have quite a wholesome experience (spent with Papa Ed) on this special day of ours and this exposure will never have been possible if our boys have tagged along.

Fortunately, the boys have been highly cooperative in granting mummy their time-off on this important night and am glad that they never fought at home when I was not around….phew..

Overall, I have a memorable time, and all captured in photos……

Enjoy the movie trailer.
