A Different Experience At The Zoo
Family outings have recently been even more exciting and enriching for me and the boys as we have suddenly picked up the interests in snapping photos of the beautiful scenes around us, moments of the boys and simply candid shots of family’s activities. Like parents like sons…the boys were given our old cameras to exercise their photography skills.
AND….I realize that this new interests has definitely enabled the boys to be more focused on their environments …. <<much BETTER compared to last time when the boys used to run around wildly and blindly when we were out>> …. and as we look back at the photos taken, it not only serve as our good source of memories, but also enables me to share with the boys more knowledge on the subjects that we have photographed.
As Wildlife Unlimited Member of the Singapore Zoo, surprisingly we are never tired of visiting the zoo regularly. Just be a little creative and each trip can offer a different experience and fun. For instance, there can be a different group of animals as our key focus of our each visit. When we have enough of animals’ viewing, our next visit can always be focused on boat ride, simply letting the kids indulge in whole day of fun at the Rainforest KidzWorld, or merely photography. We have even attempted treasure hunt with the boys at the zoo which was fun and educational for the family!
When other visitors are busy viewing the animals at the zoo….”Surprise, surprise”, our last trip to the Zoo included exploring the FLORA (not the FAUNA) and SHOPPING at the Zoo! We could not resist capturing photos of these beautiful flowers….
Look at these flowers, they are really so bright and attractive and the best thing is that the boys get to learn about their names too.
