I have been heartened to have a complete family and with parents who continue to take good care of me and my family. 

[If I have not been opened enough to express my contentment towards my family, here's their chance to read it :)]

I am further heartened that I have some friends out there who care alot for me and are there for me to pour my woes to, share my joy and whose sensible advices I tend to heed.

And. When I have difficult moments with my family, I know whom to turn to:)

[Seriously, it helps to pour our grievances to our trusted friend than hurl words of  "abuses" at our spouse when we are angry with him/her because these hurting words could never be taken back.]

When our spouse or family fails to listen, we have those good listener friends who remain there to provide that empathetic listening, give that objective opinion and help untie the knots in our hearts.

While some friends are there to offer that crying shoulder or listening ears, others are there to fill our days with a different kind of joy and laughter.

For my birthday celebration last month, I was surrounded by the warmth of friendship and was privileged to have some friends celebrating my birthday for me besides my family:)

Haha! When I slow down my footsteps next, I will have more time to catch up with these friends and those whom I have not been able to meet for a long time.

I have been guilty of  catching up with friends behind that rectangular screen or handphone so often that I overlook about really finding time to meet up.

Life is not all about work and family. It is also about caring about our dear friends out there whom we might have unconsciously neglected for a while.

Hmm…why do we need to step out of a confined box or comfort zone to see the world in other perpectives?
