Brendan :”I am mature. I want to be mature.”

Mummy:”Answers.com says you must be between 13 and 19 years old to be teenager.”

Brendan:”Huh! I want to be teenager. But I want to stay in primary school.”

Mummy:”Why you want to be teenager?”

Brendan:”I also don’t know but can I still kiss you when I am teenager? If I cannot kiss you, then I don’t want to be teenager already.”

Brendan:”I am mature.” <Acted like he was talking into the phone>

Darren:”Hallo teenager. Bye. Bye.” <Acted like he was on the phone with Brendan>.

Papa Ed and I looked at each other and smiled. Oh dear, my son cannot wait to grow up and be a teenager.
