When I started working, the first set of collectibles that I bought for myself was the Sylvanian Families. I simply love the cute figurines, cosy home, warm family concept and also the miniature furnitures and accessories.

I remember the cost of a set, its accessories and furnitures were not cheap then and I wished I could buy more items to make the set more complete. The Sylvanian Families set is still standing proudly as a family set in my living room. I guess I will never bear to part with it, being my first investment in collectibles:)

The best was Brendan took a liking on it too and used it once as a model house for his hero figurines, including his pokemons. He added more animal toys like dogs to the set and the Sylvanian Families have made new friends:)
