Winning People’s Heart
My youngest boy is best in winning people’s heart. Recently, for unknown reasons, he has been calling his father “Shuai Ge” (means “handsome man” in Chinese) instead of “Papa” (father).
So he will call out “Shuai Ge, can I xxxxxxxxxxx” and “Shuai Ge, I want that xxxxxxxxxxxxxx”. Smart boy because universally everyone loves to be praised right? Because most of the time, he will put a smile on his father’s face and then most likely he will get what he wants *LOL*.
The other day, when Papa Ed and I were busy with housework, my little boy definitely knows how to make us feel relaxed instantaneously. As soon as we sat down to rest, he came up to each of us with a little note. He drew a little flower for me and wrote “Darren Lim like Mama”, accompanied with a little picture of me.
For his father, he drew him a HEART and wrote “I like Papa”, accompanied with a little picture of him. Then he also wrote “Papa is a handsome man” (in Chinese characters). After a hard day ’s work, a little appreciation from our son is definitely worth all the effort.
Then sometimes, I noticed that he is quietly busy in the toilet. My first guess is “Is he busy wetting and styling his hair again?” I am so touched to see that he is actually wetting tissue papers to wipe shelves and wardrobe doors. He is so cute because he is actually using a small piece of tissue paper to clean big surfaces! Although he is also the culprit for creating mess for his parents to clear up (especially with toys lying everywhere), he definitely deserves a praise for helping to do cleaning voluntarily *HAHAHA*.
What’s more can I ask for, especially when I have a young son who really knows how to melt our heart?s *WINK*.
