Paper Craft : Hong Bao “Goldfish”

Last year, we made hong bao fish. This year, for a change, I specifically made a few hong bao GOLDFISH as Chinese New Year deco. They are ideal auspicious gifts too:)

I love giving each of my goldfish a different “feel” with colourful tails. They certainly brighten up the house…and our cars too:)

Paper Craft : Hong Bao Fish (re-post)

Hey! With Chinese New Year round the corner and if you are interested to handmake your own lucky Hong Bao (red packet) fish, do check out this link post Hong Bao Fish that we have done a year ago:)

Teach the kids how to be involved in the stapling and folding and I am sure they will have pride admiring their hand-crafted fish during the festive season.

To Teachers : With Heartfelt Thanks

What’s a better way to express HEARTFELT THANKS to Teachers?

Hmmm….Achieving good results?  Be well-behaved?

And of course…

To make it more meaningful and instead of buying gifts, that is to make handicrafts or cards or bake for teachers during Teacher’s Day.

This year, we decided to put our origami skill to good use:)

Here’s some simple artwork from our boys to their teachers. We spent many hours making 8 pieces of artwork altogether.

The effort is worth it especially when our younger boy came back saying: “Teacher put the duck we have made beside my face and said “SO CUTE! IT LOOKS LIKE YOU.” *lol*

Well. If I were a teacher, my heart will melt when I receive these cards with HEARTFELT Thanks.

TO ALL TEACHERS: HAPPY TEACHER’S DAY:)
