As our boys have got interested in paper craft work, we have been spending time together making origamies and other paper projects.

Here’s a simple “paper windmill” project that you can attempt with your young ones.

Simple and fast. Less than 5 minutes to create a paper windmill.

First, we create the fold lines and cut the paper (we used thicker paper type) at the four sides.

Then we gather the alternate tips of the paper and stapler them together.

To hide the staple, we paste a sticker over it.

Lastly, we paste a stick at the back of the windmill (we used satay stick in this case).  Let your kids decorate the paper if they want to.

Here’s the end products.

We thought these windmills look more like flowers and so we keep them in a vase in our boys’ room.

The next time, we will make it more contrasting in colours by pasting a different coloured paper at the back of the first paper. Also, we will attempt to make a spinning windmill:) Alternatively, we could also make smaller windmills in different colours (without the sticks), put them in a picture frame and hang it on the wall.
