One of my family’s past times is kite flying. It is wonderful to see my kids running carefreely while pulling the strings of their kites and it is a nice view to see many kites soaring in the sky together, especially in their different designs and patterns. I have written several posts before on kite flying experiences and venues in Singapore. A reader introduced me to stunt kites and I have seen more people having fun with them.

We came across an advertisement on an inaugural NTUC Income Kite Flying Festival in Singapore on 29 and 30 August. The event is free and will be held at West Coast Park, Grand Lawn. There will be music and dance performances, together with kite flying tips by kite Masters.

We cannot wait for the days to come to join other kite flyers at the Kite Festival and also enjoy the free performances! My boys will enjoy playing “catching” in the wide open field.
